Assessing Your Strength and Weaknesses Post#2
I have many strengths and weaknesses in the four goal areas of writing. My strength in Rhetorical knowledge is being able to write to an audience using a specific format. My weakness is being very specific when writing. My strength in critical thinking, reading, and writing is I can persuade my audience to accept my point but my weaknesses is that I have a hard time seeing others prospective. My strength in the writing process is that I can follow and do the steps to writing an effective paper but my weakness is that I can’t write more than one draft as they say you should do. As for knowledge of conventions I know when to use the correct tone and grammar. My weakness however is that I have a hard time with placing some correct punctuation.

Amanda, I see that we both have the same problem in listening to other people's views when writing. In the writing process goal I see that our strengths and weaknesses are opposite so maybe you could help when it comes to following the steps of the writing process and I can help you with making many drafts of your paper. I liked the fact that you highlighted your strengths and weaknesses in this post.
I'm glad you mentioned drafting! I also have trouble constructing more than one draft of a paper. Sometimes, when I write I will believe that it is a great paper and get others to read it and expect god feedback. When doing so, I am usually disappointed because the people who proofread my paper are friends and want to give me the benefit of the doubt. I almost always have to get a teacher or tutor to help me revise my papers in order to get accurate feedback in what I need to work on. Don’t get me wrong, sometimes my friends can proofread with a very picky opinion, but it usually doesn’t work out that way.
Hey Amanda, from reading your blog I see that we have much in common with our writing strengths and weaknessess. In regards to rhetorical knowledge, I also have a weakness when it comes to being very specific with certain details in my writing. I seem to find it difficult to persuade many people in my writings, and also opposite of you, I find it very easy to see where people are coming from in their point of views although I may not agree with it. I also have a hard time writing more than one draft. Another thing that we have in common is that I could work on using correct punctuation.
